Sunflowers are a great addition to every garden. Their impressive size and beautiful big bright flowers which look like little suns are simply emblematic for a nice mixed garden. And the name 'Sunflower' also tells its own story, as the plant prefers a particularly sunny and warm location. They can be grown in large pots or directly in a flower bed. However, since they are deep-rooting plant which consume lots of nutrients, they need lots of space, a deep, nutrient-rich soil and an abundant water supply.
